  SD Card Classes explained

Posted Under Memory Card Guides By Kirsty at 5:00pm

When shopping for SD cards on MemoryCards.co.uk you'll notice that there they come in three classes: Class 2, Class 4 and Class 6.

The classification relates to the speed at which data is transferred to and from the memory card. Class 2 cards transfer at 2 Mb per second, class 4 at 4 Mb per second and Class 6 at 6 Megabytes per second.
